Heather Giordano serves as Senior Vice President, Human Resources for CNA. In her role, she partners closely with CNA executive leadership to design and execute human capital strategies, programs and processes that drive measurable business results. Heather is also responsible for CNA’s Internal Communications function, developing communication strategies that support and enable business objectives and drive employee engagement.

Heather also serves as the Chair of CNA’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Council and leads the Company’s DEI team. In this capacity, she leads CNA’s Diversity and Inclusion strategy, cultivating an inclusive culture that celebrates individuals’ differences, attracts diverse talent, and inspires a work environment that enables all employees to do their best work.

Finally, Heather leads CNA’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) function, which helps build resilient communities through partnerships, employee volunteerism and giving.

Heather has over 20 years of HR and DEI experience in various industries. She holds at Bachelors Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Dominican University, and a Masters Degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
